Hey Mortals, I am from future. The world will be affected by coronavirus in 2020. Mark my words.

Looks like it would work great for Golf too
Way less intense Jeff 😛
1:08 who else thought his arm was hella messed up?
Looks like he was natural back then but now he is on TRT
Cool
Haha this is how I remember Jeff. I actually stopped watching once he veered away from baseball, but he's done very well!!
How old he looks in the video😳😂😅
Going back to this video and seeing all the noobs telling Jeff what to do lol
Make more baseball tuitorals
Yo back when Jeff was young!
Woah
Is this Ross from friends?
why does he remind me of ross so much. from friends
aww, smaller less buff Jeff.
I don't have cables and weights at home.
I use a frickin axe and a dead tree or a sledgehammer on a big azz tire.
Ha
this is an ok work out, I been doin this for a while..however it should be done with less weight and fallow thro
I've been doing this workout for awhile
A solid strength program would increase athletic performance in almost every way, rather than doing these isolated movements that mimic what a an athlete already does day in and day out.
I CAN DO THIS WITH ANY ROUTINE OF MUSCLE?
The whole idea of going to a personal trainer or watching the exercises that sports science develops is for their expertise. I didn't come to youtube for a case study.
Look it up. If you use that machine, you eliminate your arms. This machine allows you to use your arms. Good hitters don't use their arms.
that machine you purport to be used by pro and college clubs is garbage. no range of motion whatsoever. I'll take Jeff's any day of the week. FAR more effective and versatile.
who doesn't with good off speed stuff..
That machine is used by MLB and college teams. If you try to use it with your arms, you won't be able to lift more than 40 or so pounds.
I love all the negative feedback. everyone shut up. especially swingbuilder with his zero range of motion garbage contraption that Nobody will ever use but him. It's just an arm exercise.
I understand where you're coming from with this comment, but the exercise is just that, an exercise. This is not to fully replicate the swing, but just to work specific muscle groups used while swinging.
Video looks good but way too much arms, the bigger core muscles (glutes, quads, hamstrings, QL's, psoas etc) needs to start the swing, arms finish the swing unlike this video, you'd get K'd with off speed stuff all day long
This seems like it would be a perfect exercise for hitting. Unfortunately, that might be exactly why people do it. Because it seems like it would help. Any video or site that includes actually case studies or at least some sort of evidence will always be better than a guy going "hey, do this." I mean think about all the people who will watch this video and do this exercise 3 times a week for the next year.. I sure hope its not a waste of time!
you play baseball?
90% or more of time spent on improve your hitting should be done, well, improving your hitting (get in the cages!!!)
There's no doubt you can become a better hitter by doing things like that, but the big thing nowadays is training most efficiently to allow for more development to become a great hitter.
Not saying what you did was wrong, but rather if you spent the equivalent amount of time in a gym doing exercises like the one above you'd probably be an even better player.
What is that machine called?
