  4. Thank you for sharing your story with us 🙂 I was also bullied quite a bit as a child and had very little emotional support. Idk if it's an immigrant thing (my family came from Poland) but the mentality was always that you should just deal with it on your own, stay quiet, work hard, etc. I'm only just now starting to break away from my "fears" and intimidation of the gym and working out. Your channel is giving me a lot of confidence, so thank you! <3

  5. This video is sooo inspirational and is something I needed to hear. I am the exact opposite I started off really heavy since I was a child and when I would go to the gym I would only to treadmill and would get so bored and not push myself.

Well I  like both versions of Naomi … but certainly some fabulous progress and accomplishments to be proud of  😊 👏 … and having added muscle and shape is often a very good thing. 😊   But you know, I do wonder Naomi , can you still play the violin and could it be a future Tube video someday ??  …  Oh yeah , and more  Naomi in pigtails please 😂

  9. Whenever you pointed at the camera, I physically felt attacked (being consistent, achieving your goals, blaming on asian genetics, etc) but in a good way haha but you are soooo right! I really needed to hear all this and I feel so much more motivated! Thank you for being such an inspiration and continue doing what you do 💓

  10. Yes!! When I first started, Krissy Cela (like sss instead of ch) and Linn Lowes were some of my biggest inspirations too! I especially love how informative their videos and posts are! And making time for the gym is definitely difficult as a full time student but making time is possible! I pack my gym clothes so I can workout at the school gym and study/do homework in between my class gaps. Please continue doing what you do, you’re amazing!! 💕💕

  11. SO glad you mentioned the Asian genetics. I waited for way too long to start lifting at the gym because I felt discouraged from all the things I read online about Asians having flat butts and how you can't grow a butt if you have "bad" genetics. You are so inspiring for all us girls out there who want to get stronger and gain muscle. Thank you 😍
