  5. i dont know if you updated – this being 11 months old now- but i'm betting you most likely did lose your toenail right ?
    they can just take a while to come out and its good if they can stay to protect the raw area while new one starts growing in..
    if you didnt lose that nail then the impact had to be pretty indirect… or dumbell was rubber. a 95 lb. steel dumbell drop on a toe directly is gonna kill that toenail easily – its coming out within 2 weeks after that

    one of the time i got it good but the blood was trapped under big toenail– my god the pressure pain !! and i was too young and stupid to do anything like drill a hole or see doctor, so i swear 24 hours later it felt like i did it 10 minutes ago still lol 🤣 .. memories – i can laugh now but not then.
    same with a finger once and i had learned so i got doctor to drill a hole thru fingernail right away — relief was like magic.
