All foods that we consume are made of molecular compounds, and our bodies don't care if these compounds are naturally occurring, synthesized, or totally man made. The only issue that matters is how our body processes the compounds. There are plenty of naturally occurring compounds that are not healthy, or extremely unhealthy for us, like cyanide. There are plenty of man made compounds that don't occur in nature that ARE good for us, or neutral. Synthesized compounds are just copies of naturally occurring compounds that are made in labs. There is no magical 'natural' quality that makes a compound that occurred naturally and one that was synthesized in a lab have any different reaction in any way in our body. They are chemically identical, and the cells in our body don't care whether a plant put the compound together or a process in a lab.

    All our food is made of chemicals. That's what food is. We need to stop trying to determine if a food compound is good or bad for us on the basis of whether it's natural or man made or synthesized, and start doing it on a case by case basis, on the grounds of what scientific studies say.

  5. It's funny, I was that guy eating burgers, 2ltrs of soda, pizza, 4 cans of monster, then cookies, chocolate and cakes on top all in the same day for like 20 years. I work in a kitchen, so I'm always on my feet do 10K steps a day, so the weight kinda remained constant

    Started doing lil bits of exercises, like every time I go to the bathroom =10 push ups. Go to the kitchen=10 12kg curls. Over head press 20kg over head press whenever. 6 sets of 10 20KG kettlebell swings a day … also walk to the store every 4 days (burns about 350 calories)

    Weight is falling off me… in those 2 months I've lost 28lbs

Hi. my name is so and so and since 1973 (I'm 64 now) I have been using this amazing principle to sculpt my body and improve my training week after week and month after month. And boy do I look good. Even at 64 years of age most guys and gals at the gym think I'm about 50. What is my secret to looking so young? 47 years of bodybuilding, bicycling, and swimming.

Whole organic food, no pop, no alcohol, no candy, donuts, pies, cakes, and especially none of that poison that they call bread or pasta. AKA wheat. I eat a low glycemic vegetable based diet, I'm talking massive amounts of veggies. Organically raised, chicken, grass fed beef and Salmon if I can find the real deal. Not this farmed BS they're pushing on uneducated consumers and real grass fed butter, olive oil, and lots of nuts, seeds and avocados. I do fruit but usually only blueberries, strawberries, raspberries and sometimes a banana. I put them in my pea protein shakes. Oh yea and bacon and eggs too! I have never been to a medical doctor or hospital and I take care of my own health situations and religiously use vitamins, minerals and herbs. 

    I have been studying health and nutrition since I was 24 when my mom died from cancer at the age of 50. I said I will never be a victim of that. If I do have any problems which I have had occasionally I go to traditional chinese medicine doctor or a naturopath. I'm not into chemicals and pharmaceuticals either.
