Hello Everybody. I am the one who suggested this case. I grew up in Montgomery County, MD where Bethesda is located, although I grew up in the cities of Silver Spring and Germantown. Bethesda is a very affluent upper class city and is known for its upscale shops, restaurants that are considered the best in the county, condos, and great schools. My sister went to HS in Bethesda for a while as well. This case shocked Bethesda since the city of Bethesda has a very low crime rate, and is considered one of the best places to live in Maryland, and the whole DMV area, a local term for the Washington, DC Metropolitan Area. One again, thanks to the Crime Reel for the shoutout. This is the fifth case that I suggested that he has done a video on. I remember this case, I was working in DC at the time. There are a lot of psychopaths like Brittany working in DC unfortunately.
I am from near where this occurred. It’s still shocking that despite this being clearly motivated by racism, it is hardly ever mentioned. Everyone knows it but the people in the area are very politically correct. I’m glad that wicked woman is behind bars for life.

vaguely heard of this crime. I think I tucked it away in my "pocket" to read about at a later date. There are just so many rotten crimes that occur so I believe this one slipped my mind. What a horrible and calculating person to have caused a murder of this young successful woman. Excellent video and yes, will finally attempt to get caught up in your "library of crime."

OMG I live like five blocks from there and never heard about this. (Granted, I just moved her last year and it has been a decade.)
This case infuriates me on a whole new level. It's absolutely insane how brutal and calculated it was, and for what? She would have been fired for theft, and killing Jayna wouldn't have saved her job. And the level of brutality is beyond comprehension. I'm so proud of the jury for their life w/o parole sentence. She's one that definitely deserves that sentence, especially as she's young and will hopefully live a LONG life, during which to contemplate her actions.

I always wanted to know more about a double murder that happened in my small town. June[a friend of mine] and Dana went missing one night and then their bodies were found in the forest. It happened in Moncks Corner, SC.
Look into the case of Brittany Holburg..she is on death row in Texas for the brutal murder of an 80 year old man
